As Practice Head of AEM, you will help to realize high-end technology solutions for our clients. You will design, develop and roll-out the solutions using modern technologies and ways of working along with your team. Moreover, in this hands-on Dev + Consultant role you will help in business development, as well as in building and maintaining client relationships.

Comprehensive technical leadership to CMS migrations and new implementations for new and existing customers, and lead a team of AEM Developers and Authors. This is a senior, people manager role, and external customer facing – expected to partner and collaborate closely with CIO’s, CDO’s and CMO’s of top enterprise customers. Cross-functional, communication and documentation skills are extremely key

Job Responsibilities

  • Mastery of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, client/server-side-scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations.
  • Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Deep understanding of and hands-on development experience with relevant 'Java CMS' frameworks including Apache Sling for content-centric application development, JCR and JSR-170 / JSR-283 for Content Management, JSR-168 and JSR-286 for Portal development, and Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development.
  • Represent the AEM practice for Indigo Consulting and be the face of the team – lead all end-customer interactions
  • Lead technical design, effort estimation / sizing and development, including logical & deployment enterprise-level architecture (system design, application architecture, data design, H/w & S/w stack and components)
  • Align the development strategy & technology stack with project KPI’s of the customer
  • Lead and orchestrate joint discovery sessions with customer to document the project SoW, use-cases and test-cases
  • Call-out impediments, dependencies & risks with potential mitigation plan
  • Recommending development approach(es), aligned with the KPI’s of the project
  • Closely work with CSM’s / Tech project managers to plan & refine use-stories and story-points in Jira and set-up the project in an agile methodology
  • Take ownership for performance and security of the architecture designed
  • Create content model for different digital assets like video, etc
  • Proficient in Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all of the related building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process.
  • Good understanding of Adobe AEM Sites capabilities including Multi-site manager and Blueprinting, and the use of online marketing components such as advanced targeting / personalization, and multi-variate testing, is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes
  • Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Adobe AEM with or without a Portal, Search, Commerce package or other platforms, is preferred.
  • Formulate an implementation plan & prepare estimates for the assigned activities/work items.
  • Report work progress to the manager & the client on a periodic basis.
  • Atleast played the role of Technical Lead for one year.
  • Participate/Lead in design discussions & client meetings.

  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role

  • Expert in mobile first web architectures
  • 10+ years of hardcore technology experience with proven track record in defining solutions and executing multiple JEE/J2EE projects.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise & experience of at least 5 years in Spring, Hibernate, Service Oriented Architecture.
  • Experience with Personalization, Continuous Testing, Authentication, Authorization and entitlement frameworks.
  • Experience with enterprise class search frameworks / indexing frameworks (Lucene, SOLR)
  • Experience with UI frameworks like bootstrap, 960 etc., and JS frameworks like Angular.
  • Have demonstrated leadership in SDLC – from leading discovery workshops , requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance and AMC.
  • Experience in Object Oriented software development methodologies like XP-Agile, Scrum, Rapid Application Development & Test Driven Development and Extensive implementation knowledge of Software Design Patterns & multi-threaded Asynchronous Programming Model.

Education

  • B.tech, M.Tech or MCA with minimum 65% aggregate from a Engineering College of repute
