If you happened to bump into a very excited Jim at our office yesterday, it was probably because his students’ performance   was going to be telecast on national television. YES! You heard right….As some of you already know, Jim is a jump rope professional and an expert in the sport. He is the Vice President and Technical Head of the RSFI – (Rope Skipping Federation of India) and is also a key member of the organizing committee at the upcoming National Rope Skipping Championship, to be held in Nashik next month.

When he’s not designing, Jim spends his time training youngsters in the sport of jump rope. His students from Aurangabad, recently got together and entered the talent based reality competition ‘Marathi Paul Padhtey Pudhey’ on Zee Marathi.  Up against other singers, dancers and performers, this group of kids proved their mettle by putting up an outstanding act and successfully made it to the next round. For their next performance on the show, the group will feature more members from all over Maharashtra.

You can watch their act over here.

In fact last year, Jim himself, had participated in ‘India’s got Talent’. We managed to dig up this photo which shows him (extreme right) beaming away with his group members at the competition.

As proud of the kids as Jim is, we wish them all the best for the rest of the competition:)
