In
another affirmation of its credentials as India's leading digital marketing
agency, Indigo Consulting has won 3 awards at the recently concluded
W3 Awards
2009.
Indigo Consulting's work on the
Kolkata
Knight Riders website won a Gold award; while its work for Asian
Paints
ColourNext2009 and
chlorophyll won
Silver awards at the W
3 Awards.
Says an ecstatic Vikas Tandon, MD Indigo Consulting "These awards recognise
our prowess as leaders in the domain of website design and development.
Creating and delivering effective websites requires a combination of strategy,
creative, user understanding, technology and marketing skills. Such recognition
gives us the confidence to continue improving and providing world-class
capabilities to our clients."
Indigo Consulting is the only digital marketing agency
from India to have won an award in the Gold category, placing them alongside
global giants like Razorfish, Ogilvy, Tribal DDB and Visual Jazz. What
is also notable is that Indigo Consulting submitted three websites for
the competition and all of them won an award.
The W
3 is sanctioned and judged by the
International
Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an invitation–only body consisting
of top–tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media,
interactive, advertising, and marketing firms.
In its fourth year the W
3 Awards received nearly 3,000 entries
from Ad agencies, Public Relations Firms, Interactive Agencies, In–house
creative professionals, Web Designers, Graphic designers and Web Enthusiasts.
Entries are scored on a ten point scale by the judges. Less than 10% of
all entries were selected as Gold Winners. The Entries for Websites were
judged on the following factors: creativity, usability, navigation, functionality,
visual design, and ease of use.
