Thomas Cook India charters new path for its online identity

Thomas Cook India Limited, one of the largest integrated travel services company, recently partnered with Indigo Consulting to completely redesign their website. Launched on 14th June 2010, the new and improved www.thomascook.co.in is a combination of efficient usability strategy, interaction and design.

A wing of Thomas Cook Group, UK, they offer customised travel experiences and ‘all under one roof’ travel solutions, but their website did not reflect the same. After diligent research and applied user experience expertise, the website took form to reach a wider audience.

With the improved user experience and information architecture, it is now a holiday solution website with an engaging and intuitive interface. The visual change came about with the introduction of high resolution, aspiring graphics and an illustrative style. Retaining the current features and adding some new ones like a customer testimonial for greater social proof, makes this website a one-stop solution for a broad spectrum of services that include Foreign Exchange, Corporate Travel, Leisure Travel and Insurance.
