The Click Asia Summit was held from January 20th- January 22nd at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The three day summit included a host of seminars and workshops that focused on delivering insights, ideas and practical solutions on key online marketing issues.
The summit saw eminent personalities as speakers including Gurbaksh Chahal, Anupam Kher, Gillian Muessig and many more along with a multitude of thought provoking discussions on digital advertising and marketing.
Vikas Tandon, MD, Indigo Consulting, also a speaker at the Click Asia Summit, introduced the topic ‘Banking on Mobile Marketing’ which featured as part of the ‘Industries in Focus – Banking’ session. The topic was covered further in depth by Satwick Saxena, Head of Thmbstrk – The independent mobile marketing division of Indigo Consulting.
Satwick lead off by communicating interesting insights on the internet being the most significant medium for the BFSI sector. He shared some facts and figures from a recent study by IAMAI that gave those present an idea on the break up of advertising spends made by the BFSI sector in the previous year. He went on to discuss aspects of ‘Mobile - The next Digital Wave’, that brought to light, the benefits and offerings that mobile as a marketing channel, has to offer the BFSI sector.
After two days of seminars covering panel discussions and key note sessions on a host of digital marketing topics, The Click Asia Summit concluded on the third day with an advanced SEO Workshop and Social Media Marketing Workshop.
