On 11th April 2006, HSBC UAE launched their new website on www.uae.hsbc.com. HSBC UAE is among the first set of HSBC sites worldwide to have migrated to the group's new technology platform, and Mumbai-based Indigo Consulting is proud to have been associated in the design and development of the new site.
HSBC websites worldwide are migrating to a new technology platform that allows them to personalise the visitor's online experience and better leverage the medium for online customer acquisition, cross-sell & up-sell initiatives.
 As a trusted web development partner, Indigo Consulting was asked to participate in the migration of the current UAE site to this new platform. Right from understanding the platform and business needs, to development of a site that adhered to global brand guidelines and usability best practices, Indigo Consulting worked diligently in planning and executing the project along with a multi-disciplinary client team. Indigo Consulting's prior experience with the HSBC group as well as the Interwoven TeamSite content management system helped in ensuring a smooth and on-time, to-spec launch of the new website.
Mr Nader Haghighat, HSBC Regional Head of Direct Banking, thanked the Indigo Consulting team for their timely content delivery and professional contribution to successful launch of the HSBC Group new generation website in the UAE.
The new site showcases improved cross sell initiatives to existing customers thus improving product penetration. The site extends banking services to customers to supplement HSBC's branch network. On the whole, the customer experience has improved through better content and navigation.
With the launch of the new HSBC UAE website, Indigo Consulting has not only added yet another success story in its long standing relationship with HSBC, but also demonstrated once again, its deep-rooted expertise in effective web site design and development.
