Indigo Consulting was founded in the year 2000 by a group of qualified business professionals having prior experience in leadership positions with leading multinational corporations. Today, Indigo Consulting comprises a professional team of business managers, graphic and interface designers, technical architects and software engineers who share belief in the medium, and its potential to change the way we live and work.

Vikas Tandon,
Managing Director
The company is led by founder-director Vikas Tandon. Vikas completed his post-graduation in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, and has over 14 years' experience in Sales, Marketing & Interactive Media. Prior to starting Indigo Consulting, he set-up and led Mudra Interactive, Mudra Communications' Interactive and New Media division.

A music buff, Vikas counts playing guitar, traveling/outdoor activities, and gadgets among his passions. He also runs Cashcow, India's first blog on Financial Services marketing.

Group Head - Creative
He's the man on the bike (Bullet 350.no less!) and he's with a plan to head out of the city and he's one helluva angler!

From the ocean to the hills, our man Dean loves spending time outdoors. And when he's not outdoors, he's usually working on super-graphics, brand imagery and directing the team to think in radically new directions. He has expertise of over 10 years in the field of graphic design, publishing, interactive media, motion graphics and web technologies. His wide range of creative experience sees him using his skillset as a Creative Group in Indigo Consulting.

Navin,
Associate Creative Director
While young Clark Kent started out as a journalist, in real life he started out as a wannabe copywriter. He switched to design the first opportunity he got and has been pursuing it for over a decade now. But that didn't stop him from flying! With some core print design experience he moved to online design, where he fell in love with the medium. The high point in his career - winning the Silver Abby in 2002 for the best website!

Now a matured Navin Balakrishnan (a.k.a. Clark Kent) is our Associate Creative Director at Indigo Consulting! He is also a BIG horror movie buff. He reads classic adventure novels, wildlife stories, Alistair Maclean, Jeffery Archer etc. And finally, the reason we call him Clark Kent is because he is a big fan of strength / combat related sports and is a state-level Silver Medal winner in Judo! Great guy, creatively inclined and inspiring in stature.move out of the way, puny PMs!!

Reshmy,
Head - User Experience Labs
Reshmy has been working in the field of User Experience and Design Research, helping organizations understand their users and markets while uncovering business opportunities and developing innovative solutions that are validated by user research. She graduated from National Institute of Design with a specialization in Communication Design, and has engaged with various design disciplines spanning usability and user interface design, user research, design innovation, graphic design, art direction for film and television, exhibit design and installation design. She has consulted for various industries and clients internationally, ranging from Glaxo Smith Kline, P&G, Columbia University Medical Sciences in US and Thompson Scientific in UK, to HDFC Bank in India. Across disciplines, her work has been rooted in the conviction that a keen understanding of the user is the key to cutting edge design solutions.

Reshmy has also been an instructor at various usability and design innovation workshops and courses in India, UK and US, taught usability techniques as a visiting faculty at NID and presented at the Usability Professionals Association Annual Conference in June 2006.

Jyoti Kotecha,
Associate VP - Projects & Operations
Juggling between leadership and management of the technology and delivery team, and managing client relationships, Jyoti ably oversees the timely and to-spec delivery of all of Indigo Consulting's web development projects. A PMI Certified Professional, Jyoti held management positions at Geodesic Information Technology and IL&FS, prior to joining Indigo Consulting.

An MBA from Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Jyoti is our resident expert on the Bollywood and is the hesitant reviewer of the latest flicks on Mood Indigo.

Priti Jhavar,
Group Head - Projects & Client Services
Another veteran of the online industry in India, Priti started her career with the highly successful Online Solutions (eventually sold to Intiqua) in the late nineties. At Indigo Consulting, Priti oversees key client relationships from strategy to execution.

Over the years at Indigo Consulting, Priti has shaped many of the company's success stories and much of its culture. Don't let her diminutive size fool you - she is a strong-willed woman, a complete live-wire, and her kick on the shin packs quite a punch (ask anyone at Team Indigo). And if you hear the words "One Up, One Down", run a mile. Don't ask why, just run!

Devang Naik,
Manager - HR
Devang probably has the easiest job of all. Think about it, how much trouble can it be managing a motley crue of talented, ambitious, proud individuals who know their mind? Sourcing and managing talent from two of the most volatile industries (creative and IT) is all in a day's work for this Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University, with 6 yrs in HR across IT & ITES industries.

Why, he even gets time to organise offsite adventure activities like treks and river rafting, parties and festival celebrations. Devang is another one of the many die-hard music fans at Indigo Consulting and is so committed to his job that if nothing else, he is entertaining us with the latest hit radio music - our very own contender for Indian Idol!
