PC World a leading tech magazine in India has named HDFC Realty's website (www.hdfcrealty.com) as the best website in the properties vertical. The website, designed and developed by Indigo Consulting, nudged aside popular properties sites like 99acres and Magic Bricks to make it to the top spot.
The HDFC Realty website is unique in the user friendliness and aesthetics of its presentation. In its citation, PC World says, "A cool-blue interface greets you and you will find the homepage uncluttered and from there on, the navigation is intuitive, whether you wish to buy, sell or rent. The search includes a 'refine' option which is equivalent to the advanced search that other websites have.
If you have a specific need, the website has an online form you need to fill up for HDFC to get back to you. The site features a stamp duty calculator, area converter, EMI calculator and also a Loan Eligibility calculator.
According to PC World, the winners were selected by a jury who considered parameters like content, structure and technology and not criteria like popularity. In its second year, the award focuses on 31 prominent categories.
