Business Requirement:

Prudential ICICI AMC has a vast and ever increasing network of Brokers and Agents across the country. These brokers need to be registered on appointment, before business can be transacted with them, a process which was so far manual. While on the one hand PruICICI wanted to expand its network of brokers and agents, it was faced with the problem of very slow response times to Broker Registration requests.
Solution:

Indigo Consulting has partnered with the client to develop a web-based system for submitting registration requests from branch offices and obtaining approvals from the Head Office, with minimum effort and time. The application has been designed to map the existing approval processes and, when fully implemented, will reduce the approval process to a single day, down from a week's time prior to this system. The application is being designed on the Microsoft platform (ASP) and uses Oracle at its backend.
Results:

A process which earlier took 7-10 days, was now reduced to a 1-day affair, not to mention the ease of registration, and reduced paper-work and errors.
