Maersk Sealand
is the world's largest provider of containerized transport solutions.Sales, cost
and shipping data is used by the marketing staff of Maersk in India, spread across
many offices in the country. The "raw" data was so far available on the Intranet
as MS Excel files which users could download, but were left to their own devices
with respect to analysis of data, presentation of graphs etc, which required prior
knowledge of spreadsheet applications.

has developed Web-based sales & cost data viewing applications that allow
MAERSK employees to set their-own filters to analyseand view the data for the
region. The application also dynamically generates graphs on the fly. The easy-to-use
and familiar browser interface ensures that users waste no time struggling with
spreadsheet applications.
