Franklin Templeton's association with India dates back to 1996, when their first office was set up as Templeton Asset Management India Pvt. Limited. It flagged off the mutual fund business with the launch of Templeton India Growth Fund in September 1996, and since then the business has grown at a steady pace.

To get the traffic we ensured that the website did feature in the rankings when a search relating to their services were made in the Search Engines. Accordingly keyword research was done and the website optimization processes like Meta tagging, content edit, link popularity, articles creation & submissions, etc was implemented.

As of today (Jan 2009) whenever any Mutual Fund related term (e.g. Growth mutual fund, mutual fund investments and top mutual funds in India) is typed in Google India; rarely will you find the Franklin Templeton website missing from the top 5 position. We were successfully able to achieve 80% of keywords in top 10 positions in major search engines.
