RBI, SEBI and the lot could take a leaf out of Indigo Consulting’s books. Junk those boring forms asking for everything but the size of your….apartment!! And hit the bowling alleys.

As we did with HDFC Bank last weekend. As around 35 of us descended at the bowling company, in a genuine attempt to really Know Your Customer, perhaps what was uppermost on the Indigo Consulting team’s mind was “whats my excuse for that delayed creative? Aaj to aamne-saamne pakde gaye yaar!”. We don’t want to guess what was on the HDFC Bank team’s mind – not in public at least!

But towards the end we all learnt a thing or two about each other that we did not know before – important things, you know, like which brand of beer the campaign manager likes, or who not to take in your team for the next serious bowling tournament. Now that’s what we call really knowing your customer.
